Meeting - April 7, 2010
The April 7th., 2010 General Membership Meeting of the
Trans Am Club of America, GoldenState Chapter was called
to order at 7:32 PM by Pres. Keith Thorson.
Themeeting was held atMel’s Diner. Those attending
were Frank and Michelle Brown, Lawrence Jastraub, Ted
Bechtel, Terry and Dennis Trimble, J.O. and Irene Raff,
James Nakata, Keith Thorson of course, and New Member
Bob Szabo. Bob introduced himself and described his
2001 Trans Am. His car is featured this Month as “April
Ride of the Month”.
The March 2010 Minutes were approved as fantasized by
the Editor in the Trans Script and the Treasurer’s
Report was approved as read by Treas. J.O. Raff. J.O.
announced that Chase had decided to charge $15.00 per
month service charge for our checking account and he
moved the account to Wells Fargo where there will be
no charge but a $100.00 Savings Account was required.
Old
Business: Past Events;
The last event of March was at the Arden and Howe Chili’s
and was attended by Keith, Dennis and Terry. Frank would
have been there had he received accurate info from J.O.
New
Business: Upcoming Events;
Everyone was asked to look for a new meeting location.
Mel’s was especially noisy this evening—OK
to just go to for a burger but an almost impossible
meeting location. Robert Holland emailed a suggestion
for an event. He recommended the Dixon May Fair Parade
which was well accepted. (See Upcoming Events). We will
be participating with NorCal LSX/LTX. Flyers for two
other interesting events were discussed and instructions
were given to list them in Upcoming Events. (See CA
TA Fun Run and Cannibal Cruise/Car Show).
Keith also suggested each member select restaurant locations
for future runs or plan an event in their own neighborhood
area and bring their plans to the next meeting. A run
for April will be to the Sonic Drive-In in Roseville
on April 25th.
It was moved by Frank Brown and seconded by Dennis Trimble
to adjourn at 8:34 PM.

at The Hof Brau at 2500 Watt Avenue, Sacramento,
California at 7:00 P.M. every second Thursday of the
month. Anyone with an interest in or business with our
Club is urged to attend.
