Annual Meeting & Christmas Party - December 10, 2005

At the beautiful Sacramento Radisson Hotel, with no host cocktails at 5:30 PM and dinner (off the menu) scheduled for 6:00 PM, the Trans Am Club, Golden State Chapter, 2005 Annual Meeting and Christmas Party evening began.

Those present to celebrate the completion of the Club's 27th year in business were Ted Bechtel, Aaron Bechtel, Rachel Gershanoff, Frank and Mary Brown, Leo and Susan Brown, Dave and Paula Gershon, Ted and Miren Klein, Jim and Katherine Prinzivalli, J.O. and Irene Raff, Keith Thorson, Dennis and Terry Trimble and Gary Vollstedt.

This year, 2005, completes Dave and Paula Gershon's 20th year with the Trans Am Club of America, GSC, and they become Life Members in 2006!

If we had a prize for "Most Dapper" or "Most Handsome", Leo Brown would probably take the cake! We were especially pleased to see Jim and Katherine Prinzivalli who traveled from their home in Antioch to be with us.

After dinner the Club Members adjourned to the "Hip Pocket" room for our annual business and gift exchange. President Keith Thorson announced that business would be dispensed with but an "Autorama" meeting would be held Dec. 14th. We then proceeded with our gift exchange. Those lucky enough to have a preferred item after having it "stolen" three times probably felt the most fortunate but everyone seemed pleased with their gifts.

Everyone went away looking forward to our new year.
