General Meeting - December 8, 2007

The Annual Meeting and Christmas Party for the Trans Am Club of America, Golden State Chapter, was held at the Hungry Hunter Restaurant located at 450 Bercut Drive, Sacramento, Ca. at 7:30 PM, December 8, 2007.

Presiding was re-elected President Keith Thorson.

Members present were: Keith Thorson and his friend, Cheryl Tasco, Ted Bechtel, Frank & Michelle Brown, Randy & Shelly Duval, Robert Holland & Fay Fong, James Nakata, James Prinzivalli and his son Gio, J.O. & Irene Raff, Dennis & Terry Trimble and Gary Vollstedt.

The first order of business was to table Club business until the January 9th, 2008 General Membership Meeting.

January 9th was decided on because of the 2nd following the holidays so closely.

Keith presented 1st, 2nd and 3rd ribbons to Fay Fong and Robert Holland, Michelle & Frank Brown and Terry and Dennis Trimble respectively for their Spaghetti Sauce contributions for the Cook-off on November 11th.

We all then had an excellent dinner followed by our usual Gift Exchange.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 10:00 PM.

A Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to all!

Club Meetings will be held at Denny's Restaurant, 3520 Auburn Blvd, Sacramento, CA at 7:00 PM on the first Wednesday of each month. Anyone with an interest in the Pontiac Firebird, Trans Am, Formula or Firehawk is welcome to attend.

Sunday, February 3rd, Super Bowl Party, The Raff’s, 7125 Spicer Drive, Citrus Heights, CA. Kick Off at 3:18 PM PST. Show up around 1:00 PM for pre-game activities. Club will provide Pizza and soft drinks. We will watch the game and crowd around the 51" Big HD Screen.

VALENTINES DAY BRUNCH - 2/17/08
Sunday, February 17th, Thunder Valley Casino, Lincoln, CA. 1:00 PM ‘til ??? depending on how long your money holds out. Meet at the Thunder Valley Feast Buffet as there will be NO caravan. Dutch Treat. Expect cost to be about $20.00 per person.
