Meeting - December 12th, Annual Meeting and Christmas
Party, 2009
The meeting was informally brought to order at approximately
7:00 PM when those
present ordered dinner at SIZZLER, 8531 Bond Road, Sacramento,
CA. and took their
places. The food was abundant, cooked as desired and
relatively inexpensive.
The meeting was attended by Keith Thorson and Cheryl,
Frank and Michelle Brown,
J.O. and Irene Raff and Robert and Fay Holland. We all
fit cozily in a single large booth.
The bottom line of the Treasurer’s Report was
provided by Treasurer J.O. Raff. Robert
Holland questioned why the Website was so expensive
but no reason known.
Old
Business: Past Events;
The only Old Event discussed was the Towe Museum tree
decoration party. Just Keith
Thorson and Desire’ attended..
New
Business: Upcoming Events;
No New Events were discussed.
After dinner, gifts were exchanged in our customary
way but only a couple of the gifts
were “stolen”. Our January 2010 General
Membership Meeting will be held at Mel’s Diner.
2010 Officers were informally installed. Keith Thorson
has been reelected as President; Ted Bechtel, Vice President;
Irene Raff as Secretary; J.O. Raff as Treasurer and
Robert Holland as Activities Director.
Frank Brown moved that the meeting be adjourned at approximately
9:00 PM. He
suggested that everyone caravan to the home of former
member Leo Brown to see his Christmas decorations. Leo
was surprised to see us but appeared pleased that we
had taken the opportunity to stop by. Leo’s decorations
were awesome!

Club Meetings will be held
at Coco's Restaurant, 1830 Arden Way, Sacramento,
CA at 7:00 PM on the first Wednesday of each month.
Anyone with an interest in the Pontiac Firebird, Trans
Am, Formula or Firehawk is welcome to attend.

Sunday, Nov. 29, Christmas Tree Decorating and Pot Luck.
Sponsored by Capitol A’s Model A Club. 2:00 PM
for tree decoration (uncertain if Club has a tree or
decorations) and 4:00 PM Pot Luck. Last Name A-J bring
Dessert: K-R, Side Dish (Salad, veggies, etc.); S-Z,
Main Course (Casserole, etc.).

will select from the menu. Bring an inexpensive ($15.00-$20.00)
wrapped gift for exchange. There will be no monthly
meeting.
