General Meeting - February 3, 2010

The February 3rd., 2010 General Membership Meeting of the Trans Am Club of
America, Golden State Chapter, was called to order at 7:33 PM after most of those
attending had completed their meal. The meeting was held at Mel’s Diner. Those
members present were: J.J. Apilado, Jim Nakata, Frank and Michelle Brown, J.O and
Irene Raff, Dennis and Terry Trimble, Robert and Faye Holland, Keith Thorson and Ted
Bechtel. J.O. and Irene announced that today is their 60th Wedding Anniversary but no one offered to buy their meal — Oh Well!

The minutes of the January 6th. meeting were approved as printed in the TransScript.
Treasurer J.O. Raff gave the Treasurer’s Report for January, 2010 and the report was
approved as presented.

Old Business: Past Events;

The only activity during January, 2010 was the General Membership Meeting on January 6th.

New Business: Upcoming Events;

Robert Holland reported that The Station had not called back to either assign or confirm our reservation for our Superbowl Party and it was decided that The Station would not be the location for our event. Robert Holland offered his home. Other locations such as Roundtable Pizza were discussed and the vote of those present
was 7 out of 12 to approve. The meeting was placed on hold for a short time while Keith went down the street to check out a Pizza place. Upon his return with a derogatory report considering space and TV size and placement, J.O. Raff moved to cancel the party and Frank Brown seconded the motion.

The Valentines Day Luncheon at Thunder Valley was discussed and it was decided to caravan from California Burger in Citrus Heights, meeting at 12:30 and departing at 1:00 PM.

Since Mel’s Diner is so noisy, the plan is to once again check out other locations for our meetings.

Frank Brown moved that the meeting be adjourned and Ted Bechtel seconded at 8:13
PM.

Respectfully Submitted: Irene Raff, Secretary.
