General Meeting - February 4, 2009

General Membership Meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Vice-President Ted Bechtel due to absence of Keith Thorson, President.

Members present were: Dennis and Terry Trimble, J.O. and Irene Raff, Jim Nakata, Frank Brown and Ted Bechtel.

The January Minutes were approved as printed in the TransScript, however, Editor J.O. Raff noted that the Upcoming Events showed our Thunder Valley meeting on February 15th should show PM instead of AM.

Treasurer J.O. Raff submitted the Treasurer’s Report for January 2009 which was approved as presented .

Old Business: Past Events;

Activity Director Terry Trimble reported that the Super Bowl party at The Station restaurant was a great success. Food was reasonably priced, free hordourves were provided and the facilities were adequate. Game quarter pots were won by Irene Raff, Michelle Brown and Jim Prinzivalli. Michelle also won the last quarter and final score pot. As of this printing, the Editor has not received verification but Pres. Keith Thorson requested a reservation at The Station for our 2009 Christmas Party.

New Business: Upcoming Events;

It was announced that entry forms were received for the Autorama by Terry and Dennis Trimble, John Bonner and J.O. and Irene Raff. The Club did not receive one. The general consensus of opinion was that we would not participate. Valentines Lunch will be on February 15th, at Thunder Valley Casino Feast Buffet as scheduled. St. Patrick’s Day lunch will be at the Red Hawk Casino on March 15th as scheduled in Upcoming Events.

It was moved by Frank Brown and seconded by Dennis Trimble that the meeting be adjourned.

Per the Treasurer, In accordance with the By-Laws, DUES ARE NOW OVERDUE!

The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM after a motion by Frank Brown and 2nd by Jim Nakata.

Club Meetings will be held at Denny's Restaurant, 3520 Auburn Blvd, Sacramento, CA at 7:00 PM on the first Wednesday of each month. Anyone with an interest in the Pontiac Firebird, Trans Am, Formula or Firehawk is welcome to attend.
