General
Meeting - January 13, 2011
The January 13th, 2011, General Membership Meeting of
the Trans Am Club of America, Golden State Chapter was
called to order by Pres. Keith Thorson at 7:32 PM. Other
members present were J.O. & Irene Raff, Ted Bechtel
, Dennis &Terry Trimble, Frank Brown and Robert
& Fay Holland.
Minutes of the December 4th, 2010 Christmas Party were
distributed by Treas. J.O. Raff and were approved by
the Club as printed. A copy of those minutes will be
enclosed with the January TransScript.
Old
Business: Past Events;
There were no December activities other than the December
4th Christmas Party so Old Business was dispensed with.
New
Business: Upcoming Events;
Our dinner at Fresh Choice, 535 Howe Avenue, Sacramento
was confirmed and we will meet at Fresh Choice at 6:00
PM. Members were reminded of our Super Bowl Party at
the Raffs, 7125 Spicer Drive, Citrus Heights. We will
meet at 3:00 PM. Kick-off is expected about 3:25 PM.
Our February General Membership Meeting will be held
on February 10 at The Hof Brau. (See Page 2 Inset and
Upcoming Events). Valentine’s Day Lunch is planned
for Saturday, February 12th, 2011 at Thunder Valley
Casino. We will meet at the Thunder Valley Feast Buffet
at 1:00 PM. ( See Upcoming Events).
Frank Brown had to leave so he moved that the meeting
be adjourned at 8:00 PM

own brew—whatever! Keith plans on bringing the
dessert and the Club will provide Salad, Chips and Dips
and Soft Drinks.

VALENTINE'S
DAY BRUNCH - 2/12/2011
Meet at 1:00 PM, We will meet at the Thunder Valley
Casino Feast Buffet for Valentine’s Day Brunch.
Brunch is served from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and the price
is $10.95 for adults.
DIVE
CHECK - 2/26/2011
Meet at the Levitz Parking Lot on Watt Avenue in North
Highlands at 12:30 PM and we will leave at 1:00 PM in
caravan. The plan is to visit either Cricket’s
Country Kitchen at 4745 Auburn Blvd, Carmichael or Willie’s
Hamburgers, 5050 Arden Way, Carmichael (Corner Arden
Way and Fair Oaks Blvd). We will decide then.
