General Meeting - June 6, 2006
The meeting was called to order at 7:14 PM by Vice President Terry Trimble in the absence of Pres. Keith Thorson. Keith arrived later.

Visitors Jay Frazer and his Son Jordan were recognized. Jay is looking for an older model Firebird. Also recognized were Lowell Holman and Annette Hernandez. They were met at the Rio Linda Car Show by Terry and Dennis Trimble and own a 1968, Sunburst Red, Firebird.

The May Secretary's Minutes were approved as printed.

The Treasurer's Report for May was read by Treas. J.O. Raff and approved as read.

Old Business: Past Events;
Terry and Dennis discussed the Thunderbolt's Rio Linda Car Show. Terry took her GTO and Dennis took his Firebird. They said that the Elk Grove Car Show had around 130 cars and the trophies were made out of or like pistons.

J.J. and his neighbors, Steve and Mickey, attended the Beale AFB Thunderbird show. They drove up in Steve's 2000, Aqua, Firebird. They saw the displays and were able to meet the first female Thunderbird pilot (Aircraft #3). The Thunderbirds warmed up at 12:30 and flew at about 4:00 PM. Irene, daughter Cindy and Grand brat Tyler, came up later.

Terry discussed the "Board"/Volunteer Meeting that was held at J.O. and Irene's on May 10th. to discuss the 2007 GTO Club Car Show. Only Terry showed up so the consensus of opinion was that the "Club" would not participate but individuals may assist as they desire. It is believed that the GTO Club is looking for committed Committee Members. Our experience with Transarama dictates that this is a lot of work.

New Business: Upcoming Events;
The Vacaville All Pontiac Car Show will be held Saturday, Oct. 14th. POCI in Ontario will be June 27-July 2.

J.J. mentioned that he thought the Reliable parts discount was 25% but he only received 20%.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM.

Club Meetings will be held at Reliable Pontiac-Cadillac, 400 Automall Drive, Roseville, CA at 7:00 PM on the first Tuesday of each month. Anyone with an interest in the Pontiac Firebird, Trans Am, Formula or Firehawk is welcome to attend.

5th ANNUAL VACAVILLE ALL PONTIAC CAR SHOW - 10/14/06
Saturday, October 14th, Vacaville Pontiac, 350 Orange Drive, Vacaville. 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Registration by Oct. 7th., $20.00 but $30.00 at the event, 8:00 to 9:30 AM. Judging starts at 10?00 AM. "Pick Your Own Prize" raffle plus Special Awards and 1st, 2nd & 3rd awards in all classes from 1963.
