ASSOCIATION
OF CALIFORNIA CAR CLUBS, INC. CONFERENCE
The Association of California Car Clubs held it’s
conference in Sacramento at the Towe Museum, May 6 thru
May 9, 2008.
Vice Pres. Ted Bechtel and Treas. J.O. Raff attended the
proceedings on May 7th.
What better way to kick-off the Conference than for the
ACCC to hold a car show at the West side of the State
Capitol Building on May 6.
They got down to business at the bright and early Wednesday,
May 7th at and after a tour of the Towe Museum. ACCC President
Fred Evenson presided. Other members of the ACCC Board
of Directors were introduced as well as Senator Dennis
Hollingsworth of the 36th District in San Diego; Mr. Joe
Farrow, Commissioner of the California Highway Patrol;
Amy Brown, ACCC Lobbyist; Assemblyman Kevin Jeffries,
66th District, Lake Ellsinore, Mr. Dennis Clear of the
Department of Motor Vehicles, Mr. Alan Coppage of the
Bureau of Automotive Repair and Assemblyman Doug LaMalfa
of the 2nd District. Each dignitary spoke concerning their
areas of expertise.
Thursday, May 8th was more of the same but with other
dignitaries. The one that I missed hearing was Mr. Greg
Vlasek, Legislative Representative, Air Resources Board.

the CHP Academy.
