Meeting - November 7, 2006
The meeting was called to order by President Keith Thorson
at 7:10 PM.
Frank Brown and Robert Holland were detailed to count
the ballots. Robert Holland was introduced as a new
member and new temporary Membership Cards awarded.
Old
Business: Past Events;
The Vacaville Car Show was discussed and the Club Participation
Trophy that was awarded to TACA GSC in error was given
to Dennis Trimble for delivery to the GTO Club along
with our apologies. We had 4 cars in attendance and
6 registered, however, the GTO Club had 7 cars in attendance
although some of those present had not indicated that
they were GTO Club Members on the Registration Forms.
Debbie Lamaison from Cotati was able to attend her first
TACA GSC function with her beautiful 1979 Brown Trans
Am. Her friend "Z" came with her.
There was no attendance for the Apple Hill run on October
29th .
New
Business: Upcoming Events;
No Club Members
expressed an interest in attending the Veterans Day
Parade on Saturday, November 11th and the California
Berger All Pontiac Show & Shine was postponed until
Spring 2007. The Towe Auto Museum Christmas Tree Decorating
Party is coming up on Sunday, November 26th. There is
usually a Pot Luck Dinner at 6:00 PM. Our tree and decorations
are at the museum. Keith will find out what Pot Luck
item we will need to bring and a time for decorating
the tree.
Keith will be contacting members concerning Autorama
participation. He has entry forms and it is believed
that only 4 cars will be allowed. The cost is $50 to
show and $75 to be judged. Feb. 8th is Set Up and the
Show is Feb. 9, 10 and 11th.

and for 2007;

Ted Bechtel is Vice-President
Irene Raff is Secretary
J.O. Raff is Treasurer
John Bonner is Activities Director.
So far for the Annual Meeting and Christmas Party at
the Cliff House of Folsom there are 8 adults and 2-5
kids. See Upcoming Events for information. J.O. suggested
that money for Jackets be refunded to those that have
given deposits and the motion was tabled until January.
He also recommended that the "Transarama Fund" be deleted
as a bookkeeping item effective Jan. 1st. Dennis mentioned
that he had recommended that action previously. The
$275.40 Lancet Bill was due 10/16/06 but has not been
deducted from the Checking Account. He also announced
that the Capital City Firebirds are receptive to a joint
activity.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM .

Club Meetings will be held
at Reliable Pontiac-Cadillac, 400 Automall Drive,
Roseville, CA at 7:00 PM on the first Tuesday of
each month. Anyone with an interest in the Pontiac Firebird,
Trans Am, Formula or Firehawk is welcome to attend.

TOWE
AUTO MUSEUM CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATING PARTY
- 11/26/06
Tree Decoration is during the day and the Pot Luck begins
at 6:00 PM. Keith will check on times, food to bring
for the Pot Luck and members will be notified. Plan
on attending to help decorate our tree, to participate
in the fun and meet other automobile enthusiasts as
well as the Towe Staff.
ANNUAL
MEETING & CHRISTMAS PARTY - 12/3/06
Cliff House of Folsom, 9900 Greenback Lane, Folsom,
11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Brunch will be $15.00 per person including tax & gratuity
after the Club subsidizes $10.00 per paid member. $13.00
for children 3-12.
Adult non-members will be $25.00. Pay Treasurer at event.
Bring a gift, around $20.00, to exchange.
A final count is needed not later than 11/27 so please
call Ted Bechtel, (916) 783-3819 or preferably J.O.
Raff, (916) 961-5800 since Ted works nights.
