General Meeting - November 10, 2011

The meeting was called to order at 7:45 PM by Sergeant at Arms Dennis Trimble, President Keith Thorson Presiding. Other Members present were Terry Trimble, Ted Bechtel, J.O. & Irene Raff, and Robert and Fay Holland.

The October 2011 Meeting Minutes were approved as amended.

Robert announced that Fay was not present at Beverly’s Car Show. (The October Trans Script Master has been revised).

The October 2011 Treasurer’s Report was approved as presented by Treas. J.O. Raff.

Old Business: Past Events;

The Calaveras Big Trees State Park trip on Oct. 22nd was a hit! The trees are reported to be older than the Pyramids and everyone completed the mile and half hike without adverse effects. Jim Boys in Jackson provided a good meal. There was no other old business.

New Business: Upcoming Events;

Nothing more is scheduled for November due to the Thanksgiving Holidays.

Our Christmas Party/Club Meeting will be held on Dec. 10, 2011 at Brookfield’s Restaurant. (See Upcoming Events)

Autorama will be held February 17-19, 2012 at Cal Expo. So far, vehicles to be entered in the Club Display will be Dennis Trimble’s 1968 Firebird, Irene Raff’s 1979 Trans Am, J.J. Apilado’s 1972 Trans Am, Robert and Fay Holland’s 1995 Trans Am, Frank Brown’s 1986 Trans Am, and one of Keith Thorson’s 1984 Trans Ams. The consolidated entry deadline is Jan 1, 2012 and it is necessary that entry forms, fees ($50.00 per car) and photos be provided at the Dec. 2, 2011 Planning Meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend whether a car is entered or not since the entry is for the Club’s benefit. Set up will be Feb. 15, 2012 at 4:00 PM.

J.O. received authorization to pay our Web Site bill for 2012.

Ballots for 2012 Officers were opened and counted. Officers for 2012 will be Ted Bechtel, President; Keith Thorson, Vice President; Irene Raff, Secretary; J.O. Raff, Treasurer and Robert Holland, Activities Chairman. Appointed Officers will be announced.

With No further new business, Dennis Trimble moved to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Terry Trimble. The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:50 PM.
