Trans
A Rama 2000 Auto Show and Picnic. Dave Gershon
This year’s car show portion of Trans-a-rama
was changed in format from last year. Instead of three shows, this year there
was one all day car show that took place in conjunction with the Picnic. The show
was staged at the very nice Rancho San Rafael Park, North of the Peppermill by
about 5 miles. The green grass of the park and the wonderful Peavine Pavilion
with its adjacent pond provided an impressive backdrop for the all day show. All
of the cars were staged on the grassy knoll next to the pavilion.

J.O. Raff, Trans-A-Rama Chef
This
year’s car show with its new format was a great success with awards earned from
both show judges and its participants. As always in the Trans-A-Rama tradition,
everyone had a great time making new friends and seeing old friends.
